Spatial Edge Japan: GEOINT Without Borders

The USGIF track at SPACETIDE 2026, under the theme “GEOINT Without Borders: Allied Intelligence in the Age of AI,” brings together government and industry leaders from the United States, Japan, and the Indo-Pacific Region to advance shared Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) capabilities, interoperability, and the allied workforce of the future.

The program highlights the growing strategic importance of interoperability, data sharing, and AI-enabled analytics in strengthening allied capabilities in an increasingly complex security environment. Beyond national security, the track also examines the expanding role of GEOINT in addressing global challenges such as disaster response, climate monitoring, and economic resilience. With a strong focus on workforce development and the evolving role of human expertise in an AI-driven landscape, the summit fosters dialogue and partnerships aimed at building a more connected, resilient, and future-ready GEOINT ecosystem across allied nations.
