In 2015, SPACETIDE held Japan's first commercial space conference, at a time when the term "commercial space" did not even exist here. This conference sparked the rise of cutting-edge commercial space activities led by the private sector. Ten years have passed since then, and in 2025, both the global and Japanese space industries have made significant progress, with many private companies thriving and massive investments pouring in. But, has the space industry fully unlocked its potential? For many people around the world, space is still a niche and distant field. In order for space to truly become a great industry, what should it look like a decade from now? A future where exploring space transforms every aspect of society and every industry. A future where many people can build careers in the space industry. A future where everyone benefits from space technology and services in their daily lives. SPACETIDE2025 will co-host the Space2Earth Asia Summit 2025, which focuses on the practical applications of space technology in specific sectors such as agriculture, urban planning, and national security.

[Day 1] Tuesday, 8 July

• The Evolution and Future of the Commercial Space
  Looking back on the past decade of rapid development in the space industry, we will explore what lies ahead for the global space sector over the next ten years.
• Integration of Space and User Industries
  The potential of the space industry to interact with diverse industries will be analyzed from the perspective of user industries.
• Space Democratization: Expanding Public Access through Consumer-Oriented Business
  The expansion of the B to C market will be discussed toward a future where space can be utilized by everyone.

[Day 2] Wednesday, 9 July

• Next-Generation Players and Technologies Shaping the Future
  The space industry in the 2030's will be discussed from the perspective of the next generation of talents and cutting-edge technologies.
• Dual-Use in Commercial Space
  At the intersection of national security and commercial space, this session will explore the applications and challenges of space technologies.
• Commercial Space Policy
  In light of the rapidly changing global landscape, the commercial space policies of various countries will be discussed.

[Day 3] Thursday, 10 July

• Expanding the Space Economy
  Discusses the future of the space economy, which will expand from low earth orbit to the moon and Mars.
• The Industrial Foundation of the Commercial Space
  Discuss issues and paths toward the development of the industrial foundation necessary for the growth of commercial space, including mass production systems, financing, and technology supply.
• Growth Strategies for the Commercial Space
  Focusing on the management strategies of leading companies, we will explore growth models for the space business.

The event on July 7 is a fully invitation-only event hosted by SPACETIDE. Please note that only those with an official invitation will be allowed to attend. Invitations are different from the tickets on sale.

SPACETIDE 2025 will be held at the Toranomon area in the heart of Tokyo.
