Side Events - SPACETIDE 2025

As the space economy expands and new investors enter the space domain, investors have an increasing role to play in ensuring sustainability in the space environment in support of continued growth. Secure World Foundation is developing a Guide to Stewardship for Sustainable Value Creation in the Space Sector. This Guide is intended to provide guidance to the investment community about stewardship, stability, and sustainability aspects that should be considered when making investment decisions in space activities, in order to support the creation of long-term space investment. This workshop will be a structured discussion and feedback session on the goals, contents, structure of and possible uses of the Guide.

The space sector is navigating the unprecedented geo-political and geo-economic shifts, the impacts of which remain as uncertain as far-reaching. Together with a networking lunch, this joint ESPI-BFNA event will feature a panel of experts as well as an interactive discussion with the audience on the topics of economic security and technological sovereignty, international cooperation, the effect of tariffs on space commerce, supply chains and the broader space economy as well as the growing confluence of power politics, economics, security and commerce in the space arena.

The fourth edition of this space industry-focused career event features over 20 exhibitors, including major companies, startups, and government agencies. Opportunities are available across business, engineering, and corporate roles. Designed for all experience levels, including those new to the industry, the event also offers informative sessions and stage talks. Participants range in age from teens to over 60, making it an inclusive chance to explore new career possibilities in the growing space sector.
